Before WORXLIFE existed, we all shared the same passion for sneakers. Coincidentally, all of us were intertwined through the Sole Collector forums during our teenage years. Eventually, we got older and outgrew our sneaker phase. We all still have that passion for sneakers buried under layers of different tastes we develop growing up. My idealogy of this project was to resurrect something I grew up with. I had many fond memories of hustling to get certain shoes back in the day. In my opinion, SB Dunks died when the black/purple box series came into fruition. They lost me as a dunk connoisseur by consistently releasing weak colorways and designs. With my newly acquired sewing knowledge, the anatomy of the sneaker I grew up loving became very simple to study. Aftr a few test runs with some beaters to figure out the inner workings, I decided to step it up a notch and go all out with my next pair. I single-handedly took apart the shoes and made them my own. Disappointed with the awful colorways Nike SB has been releasing, I wanted to make something clean and rugged. The WORXLIFE dunk features brushed suede and ripstop woodland camo accented by golden eyelets and red contrast stitching. Love + labor + passion = timeless design.
