I bought a pair of chinos at J.Crew for 15$. The waist and the thigh fit well, but the knee down was too bunchy for my liking. With extra fabric lying around, I decided to add a mild touch to this pair of pants.
Pinned and marked.
Base stitch with a test fit.
Measuring and cutting the lining.
Cleaning up the edges.
I sew the lining along the inseam and hem.
Surge the edges along the inseam
Clean up the edges on the hem.
With two hours to spare before my next class and a bag of extra fabric, I decided make use of my time instead of sleeping in the library.
