I've been experimenting with materials, techniques, and processes as of late. Recently, I've learned how to alter garments on a small scale. I haven't tried doing anything full blown until now. I came across this pair of duck camo pants at a thrift store a week ago. My original plan was to take them to my tailor. I've been on the hunt for a pair of drop crotch trousers. I've seen many throughout the internet and various boutiques but the prices weren't good for my pockets. With a little bit of ingenuity and patience (followed by a lot of asked questions) I managed to learn how to make this baggy pair of chinos into a slim, mild drop crotch pair of pants. I did everything from the taper, hem, and the restructure of the the waist. Overall, this project wasn't as hard as I originally projected. It only took me 3 hours and some change, but I finally made the pants fit the way I envisioned. Total investment = 5$
